Tia Leverett, LM, CPM

Tia Leverett, LM, CPM is a Licensed Midwife and Certified Professional Midwife, credentialed through the North American Registry of Midwives. Born and raised in Palm Beach County, FL, she proudly continues to serve families in her home community.

From a young age, Tia knew her calling would involve caring for expectant mothers and their babies. She has always believed that pregnancy and birth are natural and normal life events. Her work with families—from early pregnancy through six weeks postpartum—has only deepened her belief that the childbearing journey is a profoundly spiritual, physical, emotional, and empowering experience. She holds that when women feel informed, respected, supported, and safe, they are capable of creating meaningful, positive birth experiences that align with their hopes and values.

Tia graduated from the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery in 2018 after returning to her first passion: childbirth. While in school, she was privileged to learn under the mentorship of five skilled midwives at a high-volume South Florida birth center that also offered home birth services. Since then, she has provided care to many families across the tri-county area.

In addition to attending births, Tia is passionate about teaching childbirth education. She is committed to ensuring that pregnant women enter their birth experience feeling informed, confident, and empowered—and, when needed, prepared to advocate for themselves.

Outside of midwifery, Tia enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, church and traveling.

Additional Midwife

Dellareece Bastain, LM CPM

Dellareece was born in the Bahamas. Her love for Midwifery began long before her training. With her gentle and calming spirit, she was always asked by family and friends to be there with them when they went into labor. Patiently coaching and cheering them on through these moments gave her the pleasure of knowing that those women are now empowered to be Birthing Warriors. In 2006, DellaReece began her journey by attending and graduating from the International School of Midwifery. Her love for caring for women is as equally balanced as her love for her children, plus two adoptive ones and 8 grandchildren.
